For four portions.

This dish considered as beverage. ‘Teler’ means drunk, so even without alcohol, this ice teller in the afternoon will give you ecstasy.

Ingredients:

- 2 cans young coconut milk, sliced in stripe, keep the water
- 1 cans young jackfruit, cut jackfruit into small squares, keep the water
- 2 avocado
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- Water
- Sugar
- Ice cubes

Direction:

1. Peel avocado, share the meat into four bowls or glasses
2. Share coco meat and jackfruit into four as well
3. Mix water from coco meat and jackfruit, add water and sugar
4. Pour the mixed water into four bowls or glasses and add each of them around 1 table spoon sweetened condensed milk.
5. At last, give ice cubes on each.

Last Saturday had lunch with hubby and some friends at Indonesien-Tag Bazaar in Alte Feuerwache Köln. Daniel and I spent plenty of euros for food there. But if course, it’s not everyday we (especially I) can eat es cendol, botok, onde-onde, nasi padang, empek-empek, telur asin, etc. Astrid, our German friend ate satay without the sauce. Oliver, our German-Iranian friend ate everything including sour raw tamarind. And he said it’s delicious! Err…

Surprise surprise I met Angga (Oomleo) Goodnight Electric. GE is having Europe Tour and I missed the one in Westpol Gewölbe. Hate Angga for that, cos last time I saw GE was on new year’s eve 2007 in Bali. But can’t blame him though…he thinks I still live in Jakarta hehe…

Anywaay…we really have a good time. Especially for me, 3 weekends in a row always have Indonesian delight! Merdeka!

In fact this is bloody easy…But one and only mistake I’ve made that I never make it by myself before! Always buy or take some for free for nasi goreng in street vendor all around Jakarta city. But since the pickled cucumber in German supermarket never have a success romance with my tongue, then its time for me to make some.

Ingredients:

- 1 Cucumber, diced (remove the middle part)

- 175 cc water

- 2 shallot, diced

- Chillies

- 2 tbs vinegar (depends on your taste)

- 100 gr sugar (depends on your taste)

- Salt

Direction:

- Mix cucumber, shallots and chillies and pour with salt. Leave it for one hour.

- Mix warm water with sugar and pour it to the veggies.

- Add vinegar, stir it.

- Put in fridge.

- Done.

Two days ago I had a business trip to Munster and I really had to start early, no time for breakfast. But Daniel handed me a lunch box. Guess what’s inside? He knows I’m not into bread, but he also knows that I cannot resist his own made hotdog! Danke sayang…
